Welcome to our fabulous 'NATIONWIDE' Music is Life Performance Contest.
This is so simple. Basically you record either your band or school orchestra or yourself as a solo act, performing your favorite piece of music or a song and record it to video it. Next submit your entry using the ENTER CONTEST form, and upload your video or mail it to us on a DVD. Your video will then be placed up online and when the VOTING opens, the PUBLIC will decide on the winner. It's THAT simple.
When the VOTING opens it's up to the public to decide on the best video. You can make a simple video and let the performance do the talking or produce a more creative piece like a video clip. It's totally your call. The video that gets the most votes WINS. So there's no fussy judges to worry about, just a great opportunity to WIN some major prizes.
And here's the added bonus cool thing. You WIN either a thousand bucks cash ($1000) to share with your band or an iPAD for yourself (you pick). Now here's the AWESOME part. The winner also wins a $10,000 Instrument Package for your school! That's right. If your video wins we give the school that you nominate an amazing prize of fine band instruments from NEMC!!!

Here's what to do:
1. Create a video entry of a musical performance. For Tips and Info see 'About The Contest' Click here.
2. Submit your VIDEO & entry details through NEMC’s website during the Submission Period between January 19 and March 18, 2012.
3. Build excitement for your entry. Encourage friends, family, teachers, students and everyone else to vote for you before the voting starts! Anyone can vote.
4. Watch & Vote. Watch all the videos during the Voting Period between March 19, 2012 and April 19, 2012 and cast ONE vote per email address for your ONE favorite video. Cast your a vote through NEMC’s website. The entry with the most votes wins the Grand Prize!
5. Cheer for the Winner. IT COULD BE YOU! The Grand Prize Winner will be announced April 26, 2012.
