NEMC offers music merchants a unique turnkey rental program which removes most of the dealer's operational burdens, yet enables the dealer to earn from 19.5% to 40% commission with no capital investment in inventory. The NEMC Rental Program, the premiere licensed affiliate program of its type in the music industry, removes from the dealer the steep capital requirements, high operation costs, extensive service and repair responsibilities and the complicated, intense legal requirements of offering rental contracts to the public.

Under the NEMC program, a dealer becomes a licensed affiliate for no fee at all. In return, the Affiliate receives an inventory of new and like-new name brand instruments complete with accessories ready for rental. NEMC supplies an inventory based on the size of the dealer's rental program and additional inventory is sent throughout the year as the dealer needs it, all at NEMC's expense. NEMC pays for the insurance for this rental inventory on the dealer's premises.

If a dealer already has rental inventory NEMC can purchase it at up to 100 cents on the dollar when it is rented, thus freeing up cash for the dealer.

Each instrument's rental documents are customized for each Affiliate according to the often strict laws and requirements of their respective state or territory. NEMC even takes care of the registration and fees necessary to secure the license required by many states for a retail store to operate a rental program. The Affiliate is responsible for promoting the rental program, soliciting business and obtaining the customer's initial payment. Once the instruments are placed in the hands of the customers, NEMC initiates customer service contact and motivational mailings to the students and parents; maintains monthly billing, accounting, sales tax remittance, and payment of collection agency fees to collect delinquent accounts. Also, a key factor to dealers, NEMC pays the Affiliate for repairs performed on instruments while they are on rental. In exchange for their work, Affiliates are paid monthly commissions on all rental money collected by NEMC and through the Platinum Plan Plus, an Affiliate can build a rental program that can earn a commission rate as high as 40% .
